One of our latest projects is with the AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA). In conjunction with the Ubunye Foundation and Choice Trust - SaveAct and AFSA has embarked on four days of life skills training and a two-day financial education training session for (1/2)
To this end, we welcome Mfaniseni Mdlalose, Nonhlanhla Zungu, Sibongile Yaka and Nontobeko Mabaso as community-based promoters (CBPs), who join Field Officers Zinhle Ncwane, Simbongile Duba, Siyabonga Msani – all of whom will be involved in implementing this new phase.
We have started the second phase of our Women and Youth in Sustainable Enterprise (WAYSE 2) project aimed at continuing to build sustainable livelihoods and empowering women and youth. Our focus is not only on the creation of new savings groups,
but on working with the community to develop an ecosystem that supports and expands their opportunities. The project will track all businesses established in savings groups during the first three years of implementation.
