@Keir_Starmer Does this include Blackpool Airport in Lancashire?
The biggest excuse from the owners, Blackpool Council, is that no airline is interested and the catchment area is too small. So we carried out a quick basic survey, click the link. Each marker is a person. https://t.co/M8A6T6625z
@UshaVanceNews “Yes, climate change is real, the planet is warming. But it’s not caused by humans, and we can’t stop it. Earth is evolving naturally, even expanding the polar caps. Trees, not taxes, are the real solution.”God knows what deforestation is doing to our planet.
Take a look at our Facebook chat groups, the love for Blackpool Airport is incredible! We’re reconnecting with everyone who’s ever flown from here, sparking fun and engagement that’s really taking off.
@chrissy_last@71_alec@AgitChevis The airport is still operating at a loss, but the financial situation has improved compared to the previous year. Last year, it reported a deficit of £650,000. It’s important to remember the previous owners had run it into the ground, with the intention of building houses on it
We’ve had a great response to the idea of a petition against the solar farm, thank you for the support! You can find it here, but please do not donate any money. Blackpool Airport can’t afford to give up any more land to the enterprise zone
