Meet Tortellini🐢😍
Tortellini belongs to Ali, one of our Combe Down villagers, who regularly pops along to Save Combe Down Allotments to pick delicious treats for him. Ali tells us:
'This green space provides Tortellini with a year round supply of free, fresh, nutritious food.
This is yet another example of how Combe Down Allotments benefit more than just the people who grow food here & why this site should be protected as a Local Green Space AND designated as an Asset of Community Value by Bath and North East Somerset Council!
…box isn't around. Anyone can pop in to the allotments and donate or takeaway any gifts left here.
Look out for yummy rhubarb coming on here later today!
Thanks to Guin and husband for constructing, Sophie for painting and Blooming Whiteway and Roots Allotments for the idea!
We LOVE to share and so we have created this sharing shelf on Save Combe Down Allotments !
It's "The place to share what you have spare "
Plot holders and local villagers, you are welcome to share your spare plants, tools etc here plus any surplus crops if the CropDrop..
Today, Year 4 were invited to join some plot holders from CD allotments for an interview with ITV News! They were so articulate and passionate about the campaign 🌱 @PalladianTrust@SaveCDAllotment

Wonderful, touching posters made to support our campaign by some of the local children from Combe Down Primary School! Year 4 came to visit us a couple of weeks ago as they have all been devastated by the news that the allotments could be destroyed…..
We now need YOUR letters of persuasion about how you personally value and benefit from Combe Down Allotments as written evidence for our application to nominate Combe Down Allotments as an Asset of Community Value….
