@FingerWAGHoyas Please ask a very direct question about Gabriel. Something along the lines of “Have you decided it’s better to preserve his year of eligibility or has he not shown enough to crack the guard rotation?” It’s the #1 topic on the Hoyas fan boards right now. Thanks for all you do 👍
@BigEastHoyas The backcourt pairing didn’t work last year so maybe breaking that up helps more from a team over skill perspective. Will depend on what Mack thinks his role is.
@BigEastHoyas We weren’t that great even when healthy last season. Sorber and Peavy were so much better than anyone on this years team is likely to be. I’m afraid the depth and incremental upgrades can’t make up for that. I think a legit 4 couldve helped. Maybe a youngin surprises.
@KyleWilliamsD2i Who said anything about Twitter. Fans all over the place expressed their displeasure. The biggest way was they stopped showing up and if they did they had signs. The signs got confiscated of course but the message got through.
@KyleWilliamsD2i Well it doesn’t matter until it does. Sorry but the Hoyas (or any team) becoming cult like where the people at the top shouldn’t be questioned is not good for anyone involved. We are all hoping for the same result.
What’s the value in delaying this announcement? I am not positive there’s going to be an announcement since there wasn’t last year, but if there is one why delay it?
There has been a lot of angst and unrest from Hoya fans today #onhere, but I’m emphasizing the below tweet. Georgetown 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡. It’s just a matter of what day the announcement is coming.
@KyleWilliamsD2i The Hoyas are in the position they are because there were no checks and balances on JT. You can say he earned that right which is fine. You can’t say he knew/did what was best for the program though. He did what was best for him and his family/friends.
@KyleWilliamsD2i Did fans that voiced concerns for Ewing from day 1 know what was best for the program or should they have stayed quiet while he and the admin destroyed the program? I get that it mostly didn’t matter until the end but this idea that those in charge always know best is laughable.
Credit where credit is due if Georgetown Twitter managed to pull off what Providence Twitter is doing right now they would be celebrating in the streets like we managed to win 9 conference games again.
That said it’s so ridiculous it’s like a April Fools day joke on the 2nd.
I have no clue what is going on with Ed Cooley, I do know that Providence Twitter is so strong they could troll Ed Cooley into thinking he actually is retiring
@KingDingg69 Either you have to think Cooley can’t draw up an offense or guys just didn’t work hard enough while playing with Epps. From the out of TO stuff and his past we know Cooley can draw up and offense. I guess we will see what happens with departures in the off-season.
@KingDingg69 In regards to the lack of movement/guys getting open so you think that had anything to do with Epps dribbling the air out of the ball and taking most of the shots? It may be chicken/egg but Epps has to be awfully frustrating to play with.
