The EU planning to expand the Erasmus program to North Africa constitutes a massive betrayal!

Erasmus was meant to bring Europeans together and be an exchange program — Europeans would be getting to know each others' countries'.

None of us want to study in North Africa. It's a completely one sided privilege for them with no benefit for us.

Furthermore, we already have our fair share of North Africans in Europe and we can see that the cultural incompatibilities are enormous.
They're not European—and most of them don't want to become European.

We strongly oppose these plans.
