A three-year-old girl is undergoing specialised treatment after suffering severe facial injuries in a stray dog attack in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, officials said on Monday.

The child was attacked by a stray dog while playing outside her home in Delwadi village on Saturday. The attack left her with deep wounds on her face, including injuries to her nose, lips and eyelids.

A 12 yrs old boy was att*cked & b!tten by a pet Rottweiler in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.
The att*ck happened when the boy was riding bicycle on the street outside his house.
The dog ran out of the owner's house, bit the boy on the leg & ran back in.
Owner was booked for negligence.

I know these dogs. They're quite territorial and aggressive. They live in a quiet street where there a couple of empty sites. And one under construction building i think.

One evening, I happened to jog on this very street. And three of these dogs ganged up and began growling aggressively, with one advancing.

And I had to mock charge and shout. That made two run away. But one (the smallest sized but perhaps the Alpha) didn't back down even after I pretended to pick up a stone. Finally I had to make a mock charge and even then the dog kept staring aggressively. I hurled a stone. And it bolted.

I have been around dogs all my life and I had to really hold my ground. After that, I have never jogged/cycled/ridden on that street. They must be put into a shelter. They're just too aggressive/territorial for the street.

@krishnabgowda avare, please look into this. A 70 year old man died recently in Kodigehalli after dogs mauled him.

FYI it's already a rule in their beloved AWB guidelines. But these feeders are not humans enough to understand them. Their focus is only on the rules which fall in favor of them. They read "can feed strays" and that's about it. #straydogsFreeIndia

Municipality should mandate that Stray Dog Feeders must give in writtinng in Municipality that they are Feedeers of Stray Dogs 🐶🐩 in that paticular location and will take care of them.
