MSU students are concerned that they will be unable to access dental care next semester. Many of these students have untreated issues and have been denied care by providers in town. When are we going to hear from @moreheadstate? Do they even care?

We agree, Shelly. MSU doesn't understand the financial reality facing many students. MSU's plans for the dental clinic are harmful to health, as they make care inaccessible for those with little to no income.
We agree with Angela: Closing MSU's Dental Clinic will negatively impact both the physical and financial well-being of students. Many MSU students do not have the means to pay for services at other dental providers in town.

For many of us, seeing a dental student at 3am in the blistering cold was the best access to care we had. For some, MSU's dentist was the first dentist we had ever seen. MSU believes oral health care is a luxury. We disagree.
We can do both. Cutting access to dental services will negatively impact those who rely on these services the most: Low-income students. These students already have access to sliding-scale fees at other mental health facilities in town. No dentists in town offer such a service.

MSU's Dental Clinic has a long-standing history of fighting for the underserved, even outside of its service region. With your help, we can stop the clinic from closing. Ask us how you can help.
