The Illinois Senate just passed a bill allowing out-of-state illegal aliens to receive in-state tuition rates at our public universities.

This follows a recent law that already made them eligible for state scholarships and financial aid.

Democrats voted 38-19 in favor, with all Republicans opposed.

Illinois taxpayers will now cover the costs through higher taxes, while local families struggle with sky-high tuition.

Senator Chesney called out how universities love the extra revenue, but residents get stuck with the bill.

It’s time Illinois stops putting outsiders ahead of citizens who actually live and pay taxes here.

Chicago Public Schools just got another major break from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, schools will no longer be downgraded for chronic absenteeism, even though 40% of students miss 10% or more of school days without a valid excuse. Now students can skip class for protests and walkouts without it hurting their school’s rating.

This follows the state’s decision last year to lower proficiency cut scores on standardized tests, instantly inflating reported reading and math proficiency rates with zero actual improvement in student performance.

Ben Bradley claims this redesign of the school report card is not meant to lower standards and give more schools better grades. Claiming that removing penalties doesn’t lower standards is pure gaslighting.

If we lower standards enough, we can just declare every school a smashing success.

This is how Illinois pretends to improve education.

Three things @ChicagosMayor: First, stop downplaying the negatives of the SAFE-T Act. It is being abused & those abuses are causing harm to innocent people. Repeat violent offenders don’t deserve Chicago’s sympathy.

I’m officially convinced. It was a hoax. The Trump Administration recruited a leftist Kamala Harris voting Trump hater to participate in a staged assassination that would include the shooter getting shot at and then locked in federal prison for the rest of his life. The Kamala Harris voter agreed to this plan, that works against his political and personal interests, because he’s just like a really generous guy. Meanwhile the Trump Administration, despite dastardly planning multiple assassination hoaxes, decided to keep their patsy alive and a permanent liability to them, rather than just killing him like they could have easily done. They did this because they also are really strangely generous in a very odd and specific way. So in summary we have a plot where all parties involved are working against their own interests with no real discernible benefit to any of them. There is no evidence of this plan and it doesn’t even make any intuitive sense and the motives for everyone are unclear if not insane, but still I believe it because I’m a very smart person.
