The proposed demolition of Melbourne's inner city Public Housing towers is making international news. And so it should, its an outrage to be destroying communities to make way from private development. https://t.co/An0kGDNqjR
Tell us @HousingFirstLtd y on pge 4 of ur 2020-2021 report u do NOT include those with disabilities in your description in ur approach?" Is this due u evicting a disabled tenant who will die on the street due 2 this? Will u also block me? ur great @ that https://t.co/4RB1lnjvGP
@HousingFirstLtd And here I thought that @Marceyau was joking bout how petty you were. You block a person due to the truth of their tweet No wonder you have so many complaints from past and present tenants You should definitely NOT be providing housing for the vulnerable
@HousingFirstLtd This also means that people in "power" should also be responsible for their thoughts and actions. Does that mean that you will finally take responsibility for how you treat your tenants?
@Jen_Hargrave@ColvinKate There is no commitment 4 disability access. I am fully aware of 1 large housing provider in Melb whose 2 bed disability units have "vanished" out of their portfolio & while tenants who need the 2 bed disability r forced to languish on the waiting list in unsuitable homes
@MurrayHicksind4@ColvinKate yes they have at the expense of both the taxpayers (who lose land that was paid 4 by them years ago to private business) & those on the lowest income whom the CH sector dont want to house & then claim they will help these homeless people while receiving $M in both land & dollars
https://t.co/oRIVO0mZR4 Is this a joke? Giovanna claims "better housing outcomes esp 4 most vulnerable" she & @HousingFirstLtd have decided that it is fine 2 leave a disabled tenant 2 crawl up stairs 2 access showers & end up with cellulitis It is a final decision but wrong
@rwynnemp why not invest the money into Public Housing then the waiting list will reduce. You also need to do an overhaul of the PH system. But then the government needs to care enough about the people of the state to want to ensure their safety and well being
how can @HousingFirstLtd explain this especially considering they are leaving their disabled tenants in dangerous situations so they will move out instead of waiting for an (almost) non existent disability property in the public housing sector @rwynnemp is this acceptable 2 u?
@HousingFirstLtd tell us , how many 2 bedroom disability units will there be in the Marlborough project? or aren't there considering it "seems" that you don't seem to have any I wonder what @rwynnemp thinks? is that ok 4 this provider 2 NOT have any 2 bedroom disability units?
The government are just doing what all parasitic landlords do: extracting the wealth from the lower classes and then making bank in the middle of a housing crisis with no respect for the people that call the dwelling 'home'. You guys should know a bit about that?
@rwynnemp@AndrewFBond@ChrisEgginton@landrights4all This article explains y @HousingFirstLtd r obviously moving those of us on disability back in2 Public Housing while taking the land & $ PH need https://t.co/hAUZ4QGbFa
@rwynnemp if @HousingFirstLtd lied 2 me twice in response 2 complaint re NOT putting my transfer on VHR list 2.5yrs ago in writing, does it make u wonder if they keep 2 the filling of 75% of vacancies off the same list? rnt they lucky there is the privacy act that covers them
@HousingFirstLtd love how u reword & post policy changes after complaint is made in attempt 2 cover up not following ur own policy that was in place at time. It just goes 2 show what I have been stating U pick & choose policies 2 follow & tenants to use those policies against
@HousingFirstLtd pls explain how u can rent to new people when u dont look afta the tenants u do have? Pity u dont ansa tweets that we all know is the truth Stop accepting $ until u take care of current tenants People r getting 2 know the truth More homelessness 2 come with u taking taxpayers $
@Janine_A_Kirk how do I email the board of directors of HousingFirst Ltd? How are you to know when the staff who are getting paid are doing the wrong thing?
