Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this can be normal for some men. People grieve differently. Some people grieve by avoiding the grief itself. Some grieve by ghosting everyone and becoming silent. Some surround themselves with people to distract themselves from what happened. Others grieve openly and directly. Some throw themselves into distractions, while others try to release the emotions in different ways.
At the end of the day, everyone grieves somehow. Grief carries emotional weight, and people look for different ways to let that out.
So I believe this man may simply be trying to cope or release that pain somehow. It may come across as insensitive especially to the woman involved.....and I’m not saying everything he’s doing is completely right. But I also don’t want to judge him too harshly because he’s emotionally vulnerable at that moment.
