Really new experience for me today. Never seen an alligator so aggressive before honestly. I didn’t get any pictures before or during his pounce stare, and he snuck up from behind. Heard a loud splash right behind my back and he was there. He got his tail and butt down in the water like he was ready to jump in and back on me 😅 It followed the baits all over. Followed the boat for at least 800 yards or more. Really close to the boat the whole way. A few times it put its whole body down, then give me a crazy death stare before I’d move and it would go to swim up or down the boat. Really liked following the baits. It was obviously hungry or super protective. But thought I’d share this experience! I’ve seen 100s of these but never had an experience like this.
