Overall my experience at the new Belmont Park was positive. This was greatly helped by free food and the presence of Forever Young. What makes me really sad is the understanding that the average racing fan will not be able to get a good seat here on a big day like Belmont or BC.

I tried to be open-minded. Everyone wants to hate the new Belmont Park. The pros - it’s nice and new and clean. The cons - there is almost zero cover from the elements for GA. Found a bench behind the apron. Grandstand seats do not appear to be under cover. Inside is sterile.

@SwifttKirk Saw them at Saratoga. All for infusing cash into racing, but don’t understand the crazy celebrations after the multiple multi million dollar purchases. Of course you can win with a blank check. Why are you acting so surprised?

@Animalsheltrdoc Even Saratoga in the off season - yes some train 6 months out of the year, but the stalls aren’t filled.
