DFS, BE CAREFUL. YOU STARTED THIS.
For a week now, bank employees have been targeted through an aggressive social-media campaign. Management is being used as the vehicle. The aim looks simple: shame the staff and look righteous.
But a campaign like this cuts both ways.
You placed the blame on us. Then the same standard will come back to you.
You started this. We were forced to answer.
If DFS wants transparency, let it be full transparency. Morality cannot be a one-way speech.
First look at your own conduct. First clean your own house.
Ninety-nine percent of the employees below are not engaged in any illegal activity. Do not put an entire workforce under suspicion for the sake of a propaganda show.
Now one simple question.
Parliamentary Committee meetings regularly bring together DFS officials and public-sector banks. At those meetings, banks give silver coins, mementos and other complimentary items. Not a small souvenir. A gift, person by person.
One bank may give an item worth ₹40,000 to ₹1,00,000. When many banks give in the same meeting, one DFS official may collect gifts worth ₹6 lakh to ₹10 lakh in current value. In one meeting.
That is not the end of it.
If one official attends two or three such meetings in a year, the same collection repeats. Then the figure itself can come to around ₹20 lakh to ₹30 lakh in a year. For one official.
Does anyone believe this is unknown?
So answer these questions.
Who authorised this expenditure?
Under what rule was it sanctioned?
Was it given personally or to the institution?
Who received it?
What was the value received by each official in one meeting?
If the same official attends two or three meetings a year, what is the yearly total?
Does that yearly total come close to ₹20 lakh to ₹30 lakh?
Was it declared under the conduct rules?
Did DFS know that its officials were receiving such gifts?
Were the MDs and managements authorised to spend this public money?
What is the total bill across all banks and all such meetings?
Do not forget a single bill.
Every bill passes through the desk. Through a clerk. Through an officer. Through an approval chain. Nothing in this system disappears without a trace. You cannot bury this. You cannot hide the paper.
And gifts are only a drop in the ocean.
The public still does not have a clear picture of loan settlements, sale of assets to ARCs, NCLT settlements, and other loan dealings. The same silence covers insurance commissions, cars purchased, and foreign trips taken. People inside the system know who went, who received, and who signed.
How many tours of DFS officials have banks sponsored?
How many cars have gone to families?
We know. Others know too.
So keep quiet.
Do not force us to open everything.
This is public money. Show the records. Show the rules. Show the list of recipients. If you want a fight on transparency, then every one of these questions will come with it.
We are not passing a final judgement. We are asking for the papers. These matters belong to audit, vigilance and documents. Not to a social-media campaign against ordinary employees.
So stop the threats.
Allow our lawful strike to take place peacefully. That is the decent course.
If you leave that path and continue to threaten, twist, intimidate and play this rowdy game through management, it will not stay on us. It will come back to you.
Everyone here knows what is happening.
The Government’s own conduct rules say officials must act by the rules and by their best judgement. That duty cannot apply only to people below.
Transparency cannot be selective.
Accountability cannot be one-way.
Public money deserves answers.
You opened this door.
Do not complain when the light falls on both sides.

Banks like PNB, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank etc. are demeaning and demoralizing their own staff by posting “AI-generated short videos” on social media platforms to show them in a poor light that their own employees are unwilling to give service to their customers and forcing them to work on Sunday.
Because their own employees are on STRIKE

There is due process for strike call in the legal system.

Dear Comrades,
The fight for Five-Day Banking must not be seen merely as a struggle for implementation of an agreement that has remained pending for more than 30 months. This is a fight for our existence, our dignity, our families and our fundamental right to a humane working life.
Public Sector Bank employees serve far more customers than our private-sector counterparts. Even with private banks accounting for a substantial share of the banking market, it is overwhelmingly the Public Sector Banks and their employees who carry the burden of Government-sponsored schemes, financial inclusion, social-sector banking and the last-mile delivery of public policy.
We work for institutions owned by the people and for a Government that expects us to reach every citizen. We have never shied away from that responsibility. But those who expect us to serve the nation must also recognise one simple truth:
We are not robots. We are not machines. We are not AI tools. We are human beings.
We have families waiting for us, children who need our time, parents who need our care, and lives beyond targets, reviews, late-night meetings and relentless workplace pressure.
We are not asking for privilege. We are asking for dignity, balance and justice.
The growing culture of excessive working hours, constant pressure and an increasingly toxic work environment cannot become the new normal. Five-Day Banking is one important step towards restoring humanity to our workplaces.
Save the banker. Save the banking family. Respect the commitment already made.
Five-Day Banking is not a luxury.
It is not an unreasonable demand.
It is a just demand whose time has come.
Let us stand together, for ourselves, for our families and for the generations of bankers who will come after us.
Five-Day Banking is For Dignity. For Family. For a Humane Workplace.
March ahead with courage and unity for the three-day strike from 28th to 30th September and make it a resounding success. No fear, no threat and no intimidation can weaken our collective resolve. Officers and employees stand together , we are all strikers in this historic struggle.
