🚨 ANC NEC member Babalo Madikizela’s R47 million tender in Alfred Nzo District Municipality raises serious questions.

On 6 August 2026, a R47 million tender was reportedly awarded to a joint venture between Madikizela’s company, Isazo Project Managers, and Proz Consultants CC.

Proz Consultants’ owners, Mlungisi Ndaba and Nicholas Mncube, have previously had assets seized by the SIU in connection with fraud allegations.

Madikizela was also the former Eastern Cape MEC for Public Works and is reportedly a mentor to Alfred Nzo Mayor Tsileng Sobuthongo.(second pic)

So the questions are simple: Why was this JV awarded the R47 million tender? What due diligence was done on the partners? And was the relationship between Madikizela and the municipality properly considered?

The Eastern Cape deserves answers. 👀
