Almost had the Reverse Linked List problem figured out but hit a wall with the Merge Sorted List problem. Initially tried solving it with pointer manipulation but eventually realized it’s much easier with recursion. Had to peek at the solution for that one.
Day 2 done. Sayan out
Day 2/200 in the books! 🚀
Started off with the Strobogrammatic Number problem—used a hashmap and a two-pointer approach to tackle it. Then shifted gears to linked list problems and knocked out the first two on Neetcode250.
Wrapped up with "Reverse Words in a Sentence," which felt pretty straightforward. But the "Valid Word Abbreviation" problem had me stuck for a while—thankfully, the code feedback on Educative was a lifesaver.
That’s a wrap for Day 1. Sayan out. 🚀
Day 1/200 of the grind is done! 💪
Started with the two-pointer approach today. Knocked out the "Remove Nth Node from End of a Linked List" problem—first using a naive two-iteration method, then switched to the optimized approach by keeping a distance of n between two pointers.
Tried my hand at the Dutch National Flag problem too—began by segregating reds to the left, then sorted blues and whites with two pointers. Later learned it can be solved more efficiently using three pointers.
Got myself an Educative subscription and will mainly tackle Neetcode 250, Striver's A-Z, and AlgoExpert. Also diving into the "Grokking the Coding Interview" course. Let’s do this! @EducativeInc@striver_79
Just kicked off my second semester of MTech in CSE at NIT Trichy! 🧑💻 200 days to placement season, so it's grind time. I'll be sharing my DSA problem-solving journey here, with some web dev experiments on the side. 🚀
