Davood Sohrabi was a young man from Tehran. He was an athlete and sports coach in the fields of fitness and bodybuilding, as well as active in the modeling profession. A passionate and hopeful youth who was preparing for major championships in sports. On January 8, 2026, he suffered severe injury from a direct gunshot by the forces of the Islamic Republic regime to the eye area and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, his condition was critical, and he fell into a coma. After approximately 50 days in a coma, on February 23, 2026, he lost his life due to the severity of his injuries; the gunshot to the head/eye causing profound brain damage and inability to recover. That very night, just two hours before the incident, he was returning from the Southeast Tehran bodybuilding competitions, where he had won a silver medal.
