The man himself is a jaahil it appears. He's using the word “Taghoot” which is not a common word anyway, for a concept (overstepping the boundaries) and insists of someone doesn't know this Arabic word, S/he is jaahil. Assuming that every MAN knows it, but 95% women don't. What a skunk.
Also, the biggest sin in Islam, per my understanding, is shirk. Taghoot or overstepping boundaries comes later. So, it is all about how you interpret your own personal learning of the religion. This Sahil man shouldn't be trusted by anyone, let alone women. Baaqi, I don't agree with banning anyone coz of their views. Howeoever stupid their views are, they have a right to express them. We can laugh on their stupidity, that's our right.
My Rukhsati Story:
So..
Main ne Halaku se keh diya thaa ke AGAR mere Baba starts crying Mein unko chor nahi sakooN gee.
First raat will be at my Babas ghar. 😂
So. All night Halaku was stressed about Baba crying at the Rukhsati. And he warned his family 😂
Pyaray Baba was super chill for me. He knew I would not leave easily if he wept.
So he smiled like a champion. May he be in the highest ranks of Jannah
A few times my amazing Sussar Abu said chalain, to Halaku, and Halaku just looked nervously at me. So I decided to make a decision!
Just got up and waved and said Byeee! And started walking off.
Halaku jumped up and said “Kahan Ja rahi ho!?”
I looked back over my shoulder and said with a grin “Rukhsati na. Chalo!”
And he started running to keep up with me.
The rukhsati video is the cameraman getting bushes as he’s running to keep up with me. 😂
Ami & Khala starting shouting 4 Quran to keep over my head. But it was inside. Khala came panting after me to stop and wait for the Quran. But I just said
“Khala Quran e Pak ka saaya mere dil main hain. I don’t need the ritual”So Khala was furious & lecturing all the way to the gate. Meanwhile Nano was in the bathroom!
I grabbed Halakus sisters baby son on the way to the gate. And of course there was no car when I got there😂
So then Halaku ran off to get his car. Which he had not allowed any flowers to be stuck on (Coz he’s Halaku na 😂) & drove it to the gate. I marched towards it to get in, holding the baby.
Halaku whispered in my ear “Bacha to vaapis kardo!!”
Oops! I quickly gave the baby back to his sister and turned around. Everyone had come out of the gate. Ami was crying away. But then Mamoo Jaan shouted: “Salamaiyaan to deti jao!”
Without thinking,as if on command, I turned and flung the small pouch with all the salamis into the crowd. And saw Amis tears stop and her face look horrified as she started asking the crowd,
“sallamiyaan kisske Paas hain!?!”
Naughty Mamoo then said, “Saas ke paaoN ko haath to lagao!” I went towards my Sassu Ma 2 give her a hug but she must have thought I’m going to touch her feet and moved back with a scared look on her face! “Nahi beti nahi!”
I laughter and said “Naheee khala siraf jhappi karni theeee”
Then got into the car and hanging out of the window waving “Fee Aman Allah and Seee you tomorrow InshaAllah Baba!”
Drove off.
Once the car turned a corner I started howling, tears streaming down my face. “Aboooooooo!”
Halaku asked me “Khana Khaya!”
I shook my head and sniffed.
Then he said: “Burger khana hain?”
I sniffed and nodded.
So he told me to take my earrings and haar off and put it in the dashboard. And called his dad and mom to say, we are going for a drive and will come home soon. Apparently his dad had done the same with my Sassu Ma so understood :)
We went to Gogo Mall Road and had a yummy Chicken burger with a cold coffee. Then drove towards the house. I was most chuffed. Loved Gogo. Hamari pehli date bhee vaheeN thee.
Of course I had dropped my zevar under the car seat and had to scramble like a dog in my sari to find it, all panicked, while Halaku calmly lectured me to calm down. Rolling his eyes.
Then we went in with flowers thrown on us and a new chapter began.
Oh it was a hilarious night! Where I ran off to sleep with my Boa (Nanny) who showed up with my suitcase. She woke up to find me curled up in her arms and screamed loudly. Shunting me off the the bridal roll. Where poor Halaku was sleeping. He had come out of the bathroom to find no biwi and then found me sleeping in Boas arms. Boa snoring loudly and so he snuck back to the room.
And then my Saas Bahu stories are hilarious 😂
Alhamdolillah Sassu Ma has been the kindest Saas ever. Although she pretends that she’s not sometimes and jokes that she’s going to act as my Saas in a drama some day. And my late Pervez Abu became one of my closest buddies in life. Allah bless him with the highest gardens of Jannah!
Uff!
Poor Halaku.
