Logros del capitalismo: crear un trillonario.
Logros del socialismo chino: sacar a 850 millones de personas de la pobreza.
No tengo nada más que decir.
A human brain uses 12-20 watts for core thinking while an AI system doing the same processing could use 2.7 billion watts.
This makes organic brains roughly 100–225 million times more energy-efficient than current silicon-based systems for full biological neural computation.
Huge violent riots explode across Italy to demand their government boycotts israel.

World-renowned oncologist Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, testifying in the US Senate:
COVID mRNA vaccines are linked to cancer mechanisms.
Pay attention!
This isn’t social media or the lying mass media, it’s the US Senate.
Lying to Congress = federal crime + jail time.

CEOs are quietly realizing the AI replacement plan has a problem.
Two problems, actually.
One: the token costs for running AI agents are now exceeding what they were paying the employees they fired.
Two: when the tokens run out, the AI stops. Just stops. No continuity. No workaround. Just a spinning wheel where your workforce used to be.
You fired humans to save money and bought a subscription that bills you into a corner.
The employees you let go knew what to do when things broke.
The AI just invoices you for the outage.
And then there’s the permission problem nobody wants to talk about.
To do its job, the AI agent needs access. Full access. Your systems, your patents, your contracts, your future plans. Everything you spent years building, handed over to a process that has no loyalty, no discretion, and no skin in the game.
You didn’t hire a replacement.
You gave a stranger with no soul the keys to everything you own.
Enjoy.
I read all 277 pages of SpaceX's IPO filing so you don't have to.
Losses up 700%. Revenue decelerating. 107x price-to-sales multiple.
It's a trainwreck. Full breakdown below 👇
The Australia social media age of 16 policy (for account creation, not viewing content!) is working as expected––usage declined substantially in the first stage, and is likely to decline further as Australia presses the companies to do better. (That will get ever easier as the tech for effective and privacy preserving methods improves, now that there’s a big market for it).
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and Australia took that first step. Many more steps to come, and many more countries are setting out on that path.
I want to applaud @CassSunstein and Leonardo Bursztyn for highlighting something I definitely agree with: "Tipping points can be crossed, as the smoking decline shows. The lesson there is that laws are most likely to change behavior when norms move with them." We need to change societal norms and incentives if we want laws like this to succeed. They offer great advice for the countries that are setting out on the path to get a faster start.

A retired circus elephant was observed grieving and desperately trying to comfort her longtime companion, Jenny, after she suddenly collapsed and passed away.
Jenny and Magda had performed together for more than 25 years. 💔🐘
An American voice:
“Listen up, Trump, and every dumb f... in Washington who still thinks the Strait of Hormuz is some kind of American parking lot.
This aint international waters. Never was. Never will be.
Under the law of the sea, every coastal country gets twelve nautical miles of its own goddamn territorial water. The narrowest choke point in Hormuz is only twenty one miles wide. That means Iran and Oman own the whole fucking strait from shore to shore. Overlapping. Locked. Closed. No high seas. No open ocean free for all.
Iran controls the big islands too, Qeshm, Hormuz, Larak, Abu Musa, the whole chain. You sail through, you are in somebody elses house.
Iran never even signed that UNCLOS treaty, so they dont have to play your transit passage game. They say innocent passage and they mean it. You bring guns or you bring trouble, they can say no.
America starts wars because it never learned geography in school. They bomb first, read the map later. Before you drag us into another bloodbath, open a f...ing atlas. The water belongs to the land that touches it. Not to the country that prints the most dollars.
Learn it now or bleed for it later.
