I normally don’t post things like this publicly, but after being left without answers about my business funds, I felt it was important to share this experience.
This thread walks through exactly what happened, step by step, as a long-time @BankofAmerica customer and small business owner. No exaggeration. No drama. Just the reality of what happened and why small business owners deserve better communication, accountability, and support.

@BankofAmerica This is now the second time I’ve received this exact same response, which makes it feel more automated than actionable. I already used the link yesterday and provided the requested information.
After being told by customer service that they were “not obligated” to explain or help, and now receiving repeated automated responses with no actual follow-up, it is becoming very clear how little investment there is in supporting your business customers when something goes wrong.
At this point, can someone please direct me to the proper department or person who can explain what happened to the funds that were in the business account at the time it was shut down?
I sincerely hope your leadership reviews the recorded calls, especially my interaction with one particular supervisor. No long-time customer should be spoken to that way.
I have had my personal banking relationship with Bank of America for nearly 20 years and another business account for 14 years. I should not be left feeling this helpless trying to get basic answers about my own business funds. #BankOfAmerica #BusinessBanking #SmallBusiness #CustomerService #BusinessOwner #Entrepreneur #Banking #CustomerExperience #ConsumerRights
@BankofAmerica for crying shame... 14 years of business banking with Bank of America as a business owner. Opened another business account for convenience, moved funds after setting up online banking, then suddenly got locked out.
Called in, and the Risk Department told me the account was shut down and they were “not obligated” to explain why. One rep previously hung up on me. The supervisor spoke in such a condescending manner that I literally had to ask him to slow down so I could understand him and instead of helping, the tone got worse and more condescending. I do not think they record calls, so they are free to do anything and this was a supervisor... simply mind blowing!
Apparently being a loyal business customer since 2014 meant absolutely nothing. Not one thing.
The level of arrogance and power-tripping in that department is unbelievable. I am honestly disgusted by how this was handled. That says a lot about how Bank of America values long-term business customers.

Look at all of these amazing humans arriving in Las Vegas for #Money2020USA! We love seeing all of your posts, so keep them coming. 😉 Where are you headed first today? Meetings? Summits? Receptions?
@WYPJohnRobins thank you for making dad’s day and also ours! The greatest people are those who do things for people without a reward in mind! You are a great man and we were truly honored to meet you! You were the best part of the Oreo sandwich! 😉 @osatoaosayande
My family and I met an incredible man today. @WYPJohnRobins honored my dad who attended the W. Riding Constabulary detective training school in 1962. He pushed off going home to meet dad, take pictures and gave a tour. Highlight of dad’s trip! You are the best! @WYPJohnRobins
I'm crying watching this and realizing that almost all these young men singing for God to save them from SARS were extra-judiciously killed. It will never be good for these SARS and all these leaders who refuse to hold them accountable.
