Been fettling this 1933 motobecane. It’s running quite well and has a clever unit type gearbox. Lever type throttle and hand change could be interesting!
I’ve got this Manx framed Norton es2 racer that I’ve used at a couple of tracks this year. It came from A guy in Denmark called Vanni Jenson. Has anyone ever heard of him or the bike which raced successfully there? Cheers
@MozOwen That was a great meeting. Big crowd, I met Barry, joey Dunlop and Mick grant. Felt very humbled wobbling round in the forgotten era race on my old TZ.
#NWalesHour still trying to get this off the ground due to covid, if anyone knows sensible people looking for reasonable rates! https://t.co/RnC73pdO05
Just had a very close shave while out on the triumph. A girl texting while driving was well over on the wrong side of the road 😠. Why do people do this? Really is the text worth a life people?
@_stevegreen32@irishroadracing@liam_beckett That’s a day you’ll never forget. I remember meeting joey in the paddock at Scarborough. I was like a choked up teenager and just about managed to ask him to sign my program.

@classicrider My dad had an S8 but I always preferred the look of the S7 myself. His went on fire a few times as the carb is stuck between the exhaust manifold. Not a great place for it.
@classicrider@biker_Ian@AndrewButlerNet Trouble is some of this aftermarket stuff that’s available isn’t always that good. I got some clutch plates for my triumph and they fell apart after 50miles!
@biker_Ian Looks good all the same. I’m a bit of an Ariel fan. I’ve got a few spare F type and A664 red hunter cams if you ever need one. I really want to fit this twin port red hunter engine though.
