As OKC is building a new arena for the Thunder, I'd like to know if they have figured out where to put the Sam Presti statue.
I'm not sure if a GM statue exists anywhere, but I'm not sure anyone like Sam Presti has existed anywhere.
It’s my duty to remind you @OSUCowboyGolf holds the all-time record with 65 consecutive appearances. Overall, the Pokes have qualified in 76 of a possible 78 seasons.

Went to a HS game yesterday. Had a D1 coach come meet me there to watch a kid.
During the game, the team’s catcher would sprint to his position every inning.
He’s an underclassman, the D1 coach wasn’t there for him, he is now on that coaches radar.
Some things preached at every level -
▪️sprint to your spot between innings
▪️show off your arm in between innings
▪️serious throws in the INF/OF and as a catcher
You can be 0-3 and still make an impression

And Skenes, a 23-year-old who carries himself like a 10-year veteran, can't get past the way Griffin conducts himself as a teenager.
"Goes to church every Sunday, doesn't cuss, doesn't do any of that stuff, married at 19," Skenes said. "It's not common, but nothing about him is common. Everything screams uncommon. And if you want to be uncommon, you want to do uncommon things, it starts with thinking uncommon -- and he does that."

I was a D1 kickback to juco. Went to SDSU out of HS bc of Tony Gwynn. What a great mind. He kept hitting simple. Get in a good position to hit, control the knob, hit the ball with backspin. Went Juco after having TJ. When I showed up to wilburton after leaving g San Diego, I thought " that did i just do".
What a blessing in disguise that was.
I would have never became the hitter I was without going juco and meeting @Coach_AT AT taught me how to pull the ball with backspin and gave me the freedom on a daily basis to iron out the kinks. Getting 100 abs in the fall and 200 in the spring for 2 years REALLY helps. He saw juice in my bat that nobody else could see. I remember him telling me " you dont swing and miss much, why don't you put your nuts on the plate and try to drive the ball until you get to 2k, then just go back to doing what you do with 2. " I later found out that if you hit the ball for power, and dont strike out much, someone might pay you to do it.
AT led off for OUs national championship team he hit 2 homers as a player as a small dude. I watched that dude at 5'8 and 35 years old pummel balls over the pine trees in BP with a 34". Thats all i needed to see. I was picking up what he was putting down. 30 homeruns later and career HR record at EOSC, I found myself hitting in the middle of the lineup in the SEC turning around 97 with backspin eventually signing with the Twins.
I am a HUGE juco fan. Thank you AT for resurrecting my career.
