Our Party Leader in Parliament,Dr John Hlophe, delivered a compelling and incisive submission that thoroughly exposed Mr Ramaphosa's ill-conceived attempt to evade accountability by avoiding his appearance before the multiparty Impeachment Committee.
His submission laid bare the legal and constitutional deficiencies of this manoeuvre, reaffirming that no one, including a President, is above parliamentary scrutiny or the Constitution.
View From A Founding Member Of MK:
If The Secretary General Himself Signed Up On 22 February 2024, In The Initial 2023 Membership Database As A Member Of MK, Does That Mean:
1) That This So Called New โMembership Systemโ Declares Him And ALL Members Of MK Party That Signed Up Since 16 December 2023 Are NOT Members Of MK Party?
2) Does It Means That His Membership And That Of The Expired Membership Of The Current MK Party Chairperson Doesnโt And Never Existed?
3) Does It Mean That Because SDP Tony Yengeniโs And TG Brian Molefeโs Non Existent Membership In The 16 December 2023 MK Party Membership Database Mean That He Was Never A Member As Confirmed In The System, And That They Didnโt Vote For MK Party In The 2024 National Government Elections Nor Did They Believe In It When It Was Not Fashionable After President Zuma Announced It?
4) The New Spokesperson Of MK Party Said To The Media That The Membership Database Has Millions Of Members Registered, Does It Mean That The Millions Of Members That Signed Up Did So When The So Called โNew Membershipโ Database Was Being Activated A Month Ago. If So, They Are Saying That ALL Members Of MK Party From Day 1 Are Not Members And That THEY ARE FORMING A PARTY WITHIN MK PARTY, Which Is Something We Have Seen Before !!!
Hmmmm..

๐จ MKP Ground Forces Update โ 18 May 2026 Briefing
Comrades and Ground Forces,
Today, 18 May 2026, President Jacob Zuma and the National Officials of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party addressed the nation and provided clear, decisive leadership ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.
Key outcomes from the briefing:
๐ข:The recent statement issued by the MK Party Institute has been declared null and void. It does not represent the official position or decisions of the Party leadership.
๐ข :The MK Party Institute will now fall directly under the office of the Secretary General to ensure proper coordination, accountability, and revolutionary discipline.
๐ข :Cde Sifiso Mahlangu has been appointed as the new National Spokesperson of the Party, replacing Cde Nhlamulo Ndhlela.
These steps form part of our broader organisational renewal and ideological reorientation. We are not an ordinary political party we are a liberation movement committed to restoring the dignity of our people, advancing African sovereignty, fighting corruption, and delivering real service delivery.
Comrades, the time for action is now. No businesspeople or opportunists will be paraded as ward councillors. We want genuine servants of the people โ disciplined, conscious cadres who come from the communities they will serve.
To every MKP ground force across the country:
Stay united, stay disciplined, and intensify your work. Deepen political education in your branches, recruit new members, engage communities door-to-door, and expose the failures of the current local governments.
This is our moment. The people are tired of empty promises. They are ready for real change. On election day, vote uMkhonto weSizwe (MKP) in every ward and every municipality. Let us take back our towns, cities, and villages and build the South Africa our heroes and heroines sacrificed for.
Forward ever, backward never!
Amandla Ngawethu!
