Goal: land a real backend/full-stack role.
Applied. Interviewed. Got rejected — a lot.
Negotiated. Kept applying.
Still working. Still learning. Still building.
No perfect background.
No everything-figured-out story.
Just one project, one interview, one skill at a time.
22, still figuring it out. Here's the journey so far.
Started my BBA
Learned HTML, CSS, JS.
Then Java, SQL, Node.js, Express, MongoDB.
Built while learning:
Portfolio. Notes app. Newsletter app. Quiz app. A real client website.
That got me my first internships and freelance gigs.
Building > waiting to feel ready.
Became a dev/tester.
Python + Selenium.
Automated workflows. Tested enterprise UCaaS/CCaaS systems.
Kept leveling up backend on the side:
Java. Spring Boot. Node.js. MongoDB. SQL.
