When teens create accounts, there is nothing requesting parent contact or consent. So they are assuming these teens are asking permission before logging on to speak with anonymous adults who are not actually background-checked. At least they check the chat transcripts :) #7cups

The 7 Cups privacy policy even states they "occasionally review" chat transcripts. Even with therapists. What they don't say is that it's unpaid volunteers and that they have a queue of chat transcripts to review if any censors are triggered or if a user blocks you. #7cups
