@Betty56Boop@DKlownstore@CP24@TTChelps Funny enough, I’m not. I just read the news. I take public transit both TTC & GO to get to work daily. If you beleive this is okay, then every single job in Canada that deals with people’s safety should be random tested with faulty tests. Teachers, police, lifeguards, doctors…
@GOtransit If you turned around the 4:53 train in Pickering, cancelled the 5:03pm train, 5:13 goes to Whitby & now 5:23 is turning around at Pickering how are people getting to Oshawa tonight? Service is horrible tonight! Worst then a signal delay in the a snowstorm! @CP24
@CP24 This is random testing, no cause. A person comes to your work place & says - you - do the test now. They don’t sent them home to wait the results, they keep working while waiting results for a week or more It’s random. Anyone, at anytime. Cleaner, station attendant, driver, etc.
@MadeULook23@CP24 But did you live in the home? When a person lives in the home, it’s assumed you have full access to the vehicle where if you borrow a vehicle from your Mom/aunt/sister/friend who lives at a different address, you don’t have full access to the vehicle.
@CP24 If they thought it wasn’t an issue, then all parents with kids who live with them would think the same. That’s why you pay additional driver insurance. I’m sure they had paid it while he was a student/new driver. We all pay it. They did what’s called saving $ & it back fired.
@GOtransit I often wonder how Italy, Spain, India & other warm counties operate their trains.. In Ontario we can’t seem to operate in the snow or heat? And why have a train depart LSE, half full for Oshawa while a crowded platform watch. Maybe put people on that train?
@TheSpec I’m so sorry for this family. A tragedy. However, I grew up close to a lake, we were always taugh never to go near the lake & my parents always had lifejackets on us as kids. My kids had swim lessons from early age & life jackets. It’s my responsibility as a parent, not others.
@amelia_tweetz For a country built on the idea of freedom, Americans seem to have remarkably little of it when it comes to things like annual leave, healthcare, work-life balance, and having time to enjoy life. Americans are only just starting to question it now because of the world-cup?
Maybe my husband needs to start parking in the emergency lane/curb… that would save me waiting 10 minutes for people to move. Maybe we should all do this…. There is a reasons for park & ride… start ticketing those who don’t follow the rules! And do it more then 1 day!
@GOtransitLE Care to explain why at Whitby GO station your transit guys don’t stop people from parking g where ever or however they want? Why do I always get stuck behind other cars in the Psrk & ride, yet folks don’t have an issue parking in the no parking area or along curb?
@CP24 Good. Why am I always the one who follows the rules, pays $25 per work day, r/t & someone who doesn’t pay ever gets one fine - which still isn’t as much as I pay.
Girl dads:
Do not bring little girls into the men's room. We do not want little girls exposed to adult, male genitals.
You are welcome to bring your girl(s) into the women's restroom.
Just give a knock, say you're a girl dad coming in, and you'll be fine.
Exactly. If I walked into the women’s washroom and saw a dad with his little girls, I’d just carry on and go about my business. In the stall behind a closed door. The dude who made the big fuss and called the cops has spent too much time with his mind in the gutter.
@NoCRTinSchools@ThrillaRilla369 I’m not sure I’d want young girls potentially watching/seeing men at a urnal. As a women, I can wait a couple of minutes & if I need the restroom that urgently, I will go. Ever been to a unisex washroom in Ireland - they are normal washrooms converted to unisex. Same thing.
@ThrillaRilla369 Yes. And when I entered the restroom & saw, I would have patiently waited. Honestly, as a women, I’d rather the Dad do this then taking his girls into a men’s washroom or letting young girls go into the restroom by themselves.
@GameSyns@themoneylap A family member died of the same a year ago. He went to the ER, was told he had pneumonia, given medication & sent home. Went to bed & the next morning was discovered passed away. It’s very quick & swift. They worked the full day b/f going to ER. He felt tired, had a cough.
@sarahdiaryz I can’t imagine why people would. She looks perfect for a private family summer wedding. Those attending shouldn’t feel they need to dress in designer clothes to attend, due to royal connections. Plus, she looks like she is expecting, which is exciting for the family!
