This is a heads up to all #builders & #freeholders who built and sold unfit developments who are trying to get #leaseholders pay to fix. You are on the wrong side of history. This only ends with you paying and sorting. Care about your reputation? Then act. #EndOurCladdingScandal
WE WON! 🎉
Court of Appeal has ruled that Tower Hamlets decision to remove Liveable Streets in Bethnal Green is UNLAWFUL
Councils can't just tear out schemes without Mayor of London's approval.
This is a MAJOR precedent for London boroughs.

Court of Appeal OVERTURNS Tower Hamlets' decision to rip out Bethnal Green LTN.
A huge precedent for London.
Our safer streets are protected.
Years of work vindicated.
#SaveOurSaferStreets
Amazing news today!
The Court of Appeal found that the Mayor of Tower Hamlets acted beyond his powers by deciding to remove a scheme that was delivered as part of TfL’s Local Implementation Plan.
This mayor is so vile. He knows fully well main roads are for traffic and local roads are for local traffic. Lying about pollution or just making up facts. LTN’s benefit those he lies about protecting. Disgusting person.
BBC News reporting on our win in the High Court.
The previous administration’s botched implementation of LTNs pushed traffic on to main roads leading to complaints about worsened air pollution affecting the health of predominantly working class and BAME households on main roads.
@LutfurRahmanTH You are so vile. The safety of thousands of kids are at stake. You will sacrifice them for a few Uber friends on your cabinet. We don’t need this in politics.
🔴 Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the fire in Dagenham this morning.
The number one priority is that all affected residents are safe and well and get the support and answers they need.
Action to make our homes safe remains urgent - and the pace must accelerate.
There should be no confusion @SammyGecsoyler about how these fires could happen 7 yrs after Grenfell.
It's because @mhclg & successive govts drag their feet as they cover up for their own dangerous safety regulations & protect the construction industry.
#BuildingSafetyCrisis
This is the risk hundreds of thousands of us live with!
The Government, fire service, local authorities & building owners continue to treat fire safety defects with so little urgency!
Make our homes safe @getliving#Dagenham#BuildingSafetyCrisis
@CrimeLdn@NandosUK@metpoliceuk Both officers and their supervisor need to be fired, this is absolutely disgraceful to say the least.
That man who attacked her should also be behind bars.
What an absolute shitshow. This young woman deserves so much better.
My flat is effectively worthless. I will be a reluctant landlord till i die. I want to sell my flat and leave Britain. It's not a country i care about anymore after how me and millions of others have and are being treated!!!!
@ClarionSupport Well done Clarion, what a pile of s***e leaving Cherry Tree Court sheltered housing residents without heating and hot water. Not even a note through the door to say no hot water over the weekend, shameful @CamdenCouncil@SwaleHeating@ClarionHousing@NewJournal
Just been speaking to a 78 year-old constituent who Clarion Housing has left without heating for the past six weeks. I have chased that up for him, but this level of service is dangerous + an example why many tenants now want the @RSHEngland to intervene. https://t.co/ChykNNr8MY
@Clarion_Group@AngelaRayner Clarion is the Housing Crisis! They just want more money from the government to pay the CEO and other management sky high salaries while leaving tenants in squalor.
