Sad to hear this: Eamon was the last of a generation of old-school GAA scribes. A craftsman with words, he was an excellent reader of the game who called it as he saw it. Also a fine singer, an abiding memory was his rousing version of 'Born To Be Kissed' - Ar dheis Dé🙏
I am sad to hear of the passing of Eamon Horan of @kerryman_ie fame. He possibly never used a laptop but his reports back in day of Kerry games were so good that you imagined you were there. He was a brilliant wordsmith and last of his kinds - a few pints & Monday crafted poetry
