Espionage, Socialism, and the Girlfriend Pipeline
Attorney General Todd Blanche and the FBI earned their paychecks yesterday. They caught a man who swore an oath to protect classified national defense information and then shredded it — repeatedly — and they moved fast.
His name is Ian Brinksman. Forty-two. Top-secret clearance with SCI access. Inside man at a U.S. intelligence agency, then a contractor serving that same agency. And under the Biden-Harris administration, he allegedly pulled classified intelligence reports off government systems and handed them to his girlfriend.
Not a whistleblower. Not a source protecting the public. A boyfriend feeding his paramour.
Who is she? Aída Chávez. She runs Capital and Empire on Substack. She was among the first to cover Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and helped launch her. Her own publication describes her work through a Marxist and anti-imperialist lens. AllSides rates her Left. In September she told her readers she also accepts leaks.
Brinksman is single, a Navy reserve intelligence officer, Georgetown-educated — and a donor. One name on his list: Bernie Sanders. The only individual candidate.
The pattern is not subtle. A clearance holder with access to America’s most sensitive secrets. A woman who built her career amplifying the far left. Classified material moving between them. A fundraising post celebrating it.
This is what the socialist wing of the Democratic Party produces. Not honest opposition. Espionage dressed up as journalism, enabled by a man who decided his oath meant nothing.
The Democratic Party does not merely tolerate these people. It elevates them. It platforms them. It treats their radicalism as a feature, not a bug.
Brinksman is not an outlier. He is the predictable output of a movement that spent a decade telling followers American institutions are illegitimate and the rules don’t apply. They must be removed from our politics. And the Democratic party that shelters them deserves no support from anyone who still believes this country is worth defending.
America’s secrets are not campaign material, dating-app currency, or content for a Marxist newsletter. When people with clearances treat them that way, the damage is real and the response must be equally real. Yesterday’s arrest is a start. The larger reckoning is long overdue.

WOW 🚨 There is a learning center in Minnesota called “Metro Learning Center” in Minnesota that’s received more than $5.4 million in taxpayer funded AND SPELLS ‘SCHOOL’ WRONG on their sign
The same company also run a daycare that’s gotten $4.2 million and are attached to a Somali mall that has businesses that send money overseas
Their daycare is called Taaj Day Care Center, it’s an adult day care service provider that’s been reimbursed more than $4.2 million through Medicaid
This same owner also received a $10,000 SBA Targeted EIDL Advanc , which was the COVID-era Economic Injury Disaster Loan grant
I’m so sick of Somali scammers. Every Somali needs to be deported from America, not one voted to mass import these people
If someone asks you how much a single family's life is worth to the United States Navy, tell them the exact price: ten million dollars of steel.
On April 29, 1975, as Saigon fell, a tiny two-seat wooden-and-fabric Cessna plane with almost no fuel left circled desperately above the American aircraft carrier USS Midway.
Inside that tiny cockpit, a father named Major Buang-Ly had crammed his wife and five small children, including a baby. He scribbled a note on a map, wrapped it around his pistol so it would not blow into the ocean, and dropped it onto the carrier deck.
A young American sailor picked up the crumpled paper and ran it up to Captain Lawrence Chambers.
The note read: "Can you move these helicopter to the other side, I can land on your runway, I can fly 1 hour more. Please rescue me. Major Buang, Wife and 5 child."
The flight deck of the USS Midway was completely jammed from bow to stern with military helicopters. A Cessna has no tailhook to catch carrier wires, and its pilot had never landed on a ship in his life.
By every military regulation, Captain Chambers had been in command for only five weeks. Throwing millions of dollars of U.S. government aircraft into the sea without permission from Washington could end his career in a court-martial.
Chambers looked up at the tiny plane circling in the wind with five children inside. He did not call an accountant in Washington.
"Clear the deck," the captain ordered.
Hundreds of young American sailors in yellow and green jerseys ran to the edge of the ship, put their shoulders against massive Huey helicopters, and shoved ten million dollars worth of machinery straight off the cliff into the South China Sea.
Captain Chambers turned the giant carrier into the wind at twenty-five knots. The tiny Cessna came down, bounced once on the steel runway, and rolled to a safe stop with feet to spare.
When the cockpit door opened and five small children stepped out onto the deck, three thousand American sailors roared so loud it drowned out the engines, and immediately passed around a hat to collect cash for the family's new life in America.
When the math says a child's life is too expensive, an American throws the math into the ocean.
A first-generation Maryland farmer swapped a desk job for fifty-three acres of played-out tobacco land and never looked back.
She bought the bare, waterless land in Upper Marlboro in 2019 through financing built for women of color farmers.
She built Deep Roots Farm from nothing, raising chickens and vegetables sold through CSA shares and markets across Prince George's County and DC.

The pioneer cemeteries of Iowa stand two and three feet above the fields around them, with a fence round each one, and the step up from the corn to the graves is the topsoil that has left the state since the men in the graves broke the prairie.
Iowa was the finest soil on the continent. Ten thousand years of tallgrass prairie, with roots fifteen feet deep, had built a black loam over a foot thick across the whole state, so rich the settlers of the 1850s said you could not kill it. They ploughed it in a generation. The grass went under, the corn went in, and every spring since then the bare field has met the Iowa rain with nothing holding it, and the soil has gone down the gullies into the creeks and the creeks into the Mississippi, which has carried it to Louisiana, where it is the Gulf's problem.
The cemeteries were the one piece of each township never ploughed. The prairie grass survived inside the fence, the roots held, and the ground inside stayed where it was while the ground outside went south. So the graveyards rose, or seem to have, as the fields fell around them, and a man can stand at the fence and measure with his eye what a century and a half of corn has cost: half the topsoil of Iowa, by the state's own estimate, more than a foot in places, from the most fertile soil in the world, to grow a crop that is mostly fed to pigs or turned into fuel.
The fields are still losing it at ten tonnes an acre a year in the worst years, five times faster than it forms, and the farmer makes up the difference out of a bag.
For ten thousand years the bison grazed that grass and the roots held the state together. The men who ploughed it are the only part of Iowa still standing at the height they knew.
Know your school board and what they actually stand for.
Most people cannot name their school board members. That is a problem. These are the people who set curriculum, approve budgets, hire superintendents, and decide what gets taught in your local schools.
Go to your county or district website, find the school board page, pull the member list, and read their bios and recent votes.
The most underrated vote on your ballot that has real long lasting consequences for our society and culture is right there.
It takes twenty minutes. Do it once and you will see exactly who is steering education in your community.
Watch the footage of the finish line on Boylston Street in Boston on April 15, 2013.
Do not look at the explosion. Look at which way the people in the street are running half a second later.
When two pressure-cooker bombs tore through the crowd, nobody knew if a third or fourth bomb was about to detonate. Every human survival instinct screams to run away from the smoke.
Instead, dozens of Massachusetts National Guard soldiers who had just marched twenty-six miles in full combat boots grabbed the steel barricades, ripped them apart with their bare hands, and vaulted straight into the white smoke.
Right beside them ran a man in a cowboy hat named Carlos Arredondo, the proud father of a U.S. Marine who had fallen in Iraq. He knelt in the shattered glass and pinched a young runner's severed femoral artery closed with his fingers while wheeling him to an ambulance.
Runners who had just crossed the finish line tore the sweaty shirts off their own backs to tie tourniquets around strangers' legs.
And here is the medical statistic that stunned the world.
Over 260 people were wounded in that blast, many with catastrophic amputations. Yet because U.S. military combat medics had brought battlefield tourniquet training back from Iraq and Afghanistan to American trauma teams, every single person who reached a Boston hospital alive survived.
One hundred percent survival inside the hospital doors.
Terrorists build bombs to make a nation kneel. In Boston, people jumped the fence into the fire and refused to let a single neighbor bleed out.
I've said it before, and will say it again. @ScottPresler should be heading up the RNC!!!
Why? Because the establishment types they usually select just chase money from big donors. Scott connects directly with real people.
And he brings energy and passion! Lots of it!!
