1.Stolarz was lights out—and that mattered. Leafs gave up some real chances, and the 6-2 score flatters them a bit. But in years past, a 2-1 game might’ve snowballed. This team? Stayed cool. Stayed composed. That’s a new gear.

Game 1 doesn’t tell the whole story, but it hinted at one: this Leafs team might be different. The Sens will bounce back—but Toronto looked like the team that’s learned from its scars. And that might be the real edge.
