@ArgentLeftovers@StephenFleming I'm also nearly 3d that age and I didn't learn to drive until 18. Mostly due to where I was at. Public transportation was great and no need for a car. Got a free buss pass until I was 18 that was good for the year. I also biked a lot and was in shape.
@KSilberne Been in the same boat! A week of prednisone and three weeks of PT and I have lessened pain but I can only game so much. I miss my knitting and crochet.
@ArgentLeftovers Even taking one day off I at least let management know my goals for that day and they see if they can help. We had someone call off today so we all stepped in to help her so she isn't as swamped tomorrow.
Yes, take that time off, but at least follow up with your coworkers.
@VioletOkami_ Checked and in the clear. But I replaced the 1000s battery a couple years ago and the 3000 handheld!
I actually do a monthly check with all my handhelds! My GBA SP's battery started to swell last year.
Do you own a PSP?
Pull the battery out and check if it is swelling. An alarming amount of PSP batteries are beginning to swell and even burst, causing fires.
I learned this and told my friend who has one. He pulled it out, and it was swelling.
Check yours, please.
@ArgentLeftovers@AGrumpyScotsman This exactly. This is a rule I still live by and totally agree with. At least 1 game per $100 spent if I remember what I told my family... didn't have to buy it all at once but had to know of the games. Forces some research.
@ArgentLeftovers I didn't change my last name when I got married. We were debating on changing it to something completely different for a last name for both of us... but we decided to keep it the same out of simplicity.
@arghavan_salles So I talk to my husband? I will tell him if I need help with small things around the house. He'll even clean the litter box if I ask! (Just not right after work, but he respects me relaxing after work too.)
@ArgentLeftovers I mean, there are days I'm mentally tired, but I still find time to hang with my family, read a book, grocery shop, play with the cat, ect.
