Uncle Iroh voice actor Greg Baldwin criticizes Paramount over the state of the 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' franchise
“Paramount doesn’t care about ATLA ... The new regime at Paramount is straight up evil"
"I can speak freely because I’m 65 years old and my pocketful of fucks is seriously depleted"
"Working as a paralegal at various studios in LA for thirty years…I had the opportunity to observe studio executives closely. They’re generally a slippery and clueless bunch who shouldn’t be allowed near anything remotely creative…but the new regime at Paramount is straight up evil"
"These soulless bastards have nothing but contempt for a show about grace and redemption and the struggle against fascism"
"ATLA is a mystery to them."
"They. Do. Not. Value. The. Franchise."
"Who should lose their jobs to AI? Answer… Studio Executives. Ironically…those cockroaches will be the last to go"
"In conclusion… Fuck you, Paramount"

Hackers are utterly incapable of hacking shit that would actually benefit people. Want them to hack the FAFSA to get rid of student loans?? Sorry their too busy hacking cartoon studios and threatening to release something people were already planning on watching

If you're any kind of creator, listen to me.
You do not need AI to create 2D or 3D animation or art. Honestly, you dont even need to know HOW to animate yourself. Sometimes, all you need is an idea, a vision, patience, and the right artist who can bring that vision to life. And if you cant afford an artist yet, thats okay too. You can always learn, practice, fail, and improve yourself so that way you can spearhead your own projects. Another option is also just saving your money so you can "indie" fund your project.
I’ve done both. Ive hired animators, and Ive also learned how to do it myself because, honestly, I got tired of waiting on people. I got tired of being disappointed by speed, quality, communication, or work ethic.
Personally for me, at some point, it became a "Fine ill do it myself" type of situation and literally "picked up the pencil" myself.
And I did. It took years. A lot of frustration, a lot of late nights, a lot of self doubt, but every step forward came from actually showing up for myself and my work. No shortcuts. Not pretending im an animator. actually being one. Not letting a machine, make my journey FOR me. What drives me is passion, discipline, and doing the work over and over again because I love animation. The best part is looking back and seeing that my work improved because of ME. Because I kept going. because I gave enough of a shit to get better, thats real human growth, no AI needed. You can do it too. Start from nothing. become something.
hi all, I'm an artist from Indonesia and this is a trailer for my cosmic-religious horror animated thesis film that i directed, RAPTURE. hope you like it!
You can stay mad at him if you want, but this is was a big blow to AI and I'm here for it.
He didn't have to drop it, but he did. A weaker man would have said "they're already mad at me, so I might as well go through with it".
He burnt a lot of bridges and lost a lot of good will, you may be inclined to clown on him, but I respect the man.
I AM FRANKELDA, Mexico's first stop-motion feature, premieres June 12. From directors Arturo and Roy Ambriz, protégés of Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro.
In 19th-century Mexico, a gifted writer journeys into her subconscious to face the monsters she’s created.
