It's really very simple. In recent history Scotland has been heading towards the Scandinavian model of society and England towards the US. We can see that in the NHS, ScotGov policies, civil rights and other areas. The only logical outcome is #ScottishIndependence
Who controlled all offshore oil and gas taxation, exploration, production and development for the 14 years between 2010 and 2024? Ah yes, it was the Tory party.
FROM 'SABOTAGING SCOTLAND'
"Gareth, successive UK governments and their civil servants running Scotland have blocked a whole series of international port and shipping developments that would have placed Scotland firmly on the global map, doubling our trade and current ‘colonial level GDP’ too.
They include: Ardersier port, Scapa Flow container port, Hunterston container port, European Gateway Port for ferries and cruise ships at Cockenzie, building of 50+ proven design catamaran ferries under license on the Clyde, plus starting extensive multi-vessel riverbus operations on Forth, Clyde and elsewhere.
All these initiatives and more were blocked one way or another by our colonizer and their ‘little helpers’." Prof Alfred Baird
Scotland has what it takes.
Countries like Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Ireland show what can happen when nations make their own choices: stronger economies, fairer societies and happier people.
Independence is Scotland’s chance to lower bills, protect our NHS, and put our future where it belongs: in Scotland’s hands.
The Scottish Parliament has spoken. A significant majority of MSPs has voted to affirm the right of people in Scotland to decide their constitutional future.
This is democracy and it must be respected. Scotland’s future must be in Scotland’s hands. 🏴
Aberdeen and Scotland is dying because Scots unionists allowed our oil & gas revenues to go to WM (£500bn so far). Thatcher used it to fuel the 80s boom, reinvent London & SE, while destroying our heavy industries. It's not too late to stop this theft & look after ourselves first
@pinstripedline UK industry is better placed to do this. Just get a few call off contracts with our world leading offshore companies, far better value and potentially can surge more vessels if needed.
UK supermarkets are being urged by the government to limit food prices in return for easing regulations, the BBC understands. Ah right. So no snorting with derision about price caps when it’s WM not Holyrood. Jings. https://t.co/G8X3uG7BuO
Wes Streeting just called Plaid Cymru and the SNP an existential threat to the country! Let’s brush under the carpet shall we the rise of the far right, the fact that Westminster has shafted us for far too long! And Labour?
Independence pending ✊🏼🏴🏴
Grangemouth refined aviation fuel, but your Labour government failed to save it and allowed it to close.
You could also invest in a Sustainable Aviation Fuel refinery there, but have failed to do so.
Labour isn’t working!
Sky News just did an extended piece on the UK being the world's largest importer of jet fuel, with zero production capacity.
They managed not to mention the closure 2 years ago of the Grangemouth oil refinery which produced jet fuel.
Gordon Brown announcing HS2 in 2009. The UK's biggest ever construction scandal. It will never be completed. It will never reach its original projected speed. Overbudget by £87.7bn. Enough to build 400 Glen Sannox ferries. FOUR HUNDRED!
Ferries fiasco? F*ck off.
Andy Burnham voted for the Iraq War, an illegal war that killed over a million people.
As Health Secretary, he helped drive NHS privatisation.
He joined Labour Friends of Israel, opposed BDS as “spiteful”, praised Israel as a “democracy”, and called the Balfour Declaration “British values in action”. He is a Zionist.
Stop pretending he’s a radical alternative, he’s more of the same.
As Health Secretary, Wes Streeting deepened the privatisation of our NHS and handed over our data to Palantir, a company involved in genocide.
I am sure his friend Peter Mandelson is very proud.
Time to reinstate our NHS as a fully public service — and kick Palantir out!
Labour set to nationalise British Steel to save jobs, but they wouldn’t do the same for Grangemouth.
Scotland is always an afterthought for Westminster Governments.
It’s time for independence. 🏴
While Westminster is distracted by utter chaos, I will always focus on Scotland’s priorities.
My government will deliver swift and urgent action on the cost of living - capping food prices, lowering the cost of commuting and supporting first-time buyers.
