@jemelehill It’s cheap heat. Wrestling and boxing have been doing it for years. Fights need a bad guy to get butts in seats hoping to see a comeuppance.
He’s just bad at it.
@KenWeinmanSport We’ve lived a shared experience. But right now Elias has set us up to be contenders for 10 years. Enjoy the fun, exciting players and play. People who want to chuck it away to win one now forget, or never lived through, those years and years of bad baseball.
@KenWeinmanSport Fine. Isn’t next year Year 5 of the rebuild? So why not take what the team makes by itself this year as gravy? Because next year Voltron will be complely assembled and we start blasting with both barrels. We’ve still got a year to grow these kids!
Why am I just now noticing that when Nate is called into the owner’s office at Taste of Athens to be fired, his boss has to hide the coke-covered mirror that had been on his desk? Details, people!!! #TedLasso
@YNB Loved the detail that went into every part of the show, especially these end credits. I even think a later episode references “some old man broke the ice cream machine”.
@ReignOfApril Even when he was “evil Nate” he struggled with it. There was no confidence to it. He spent his whole life unsure of himself in everything. Why is it so surprising and awful that when he finally feels worthy of being loved for who he is that he can now leave all the fear behind
@littleweirdoss Not just Jamie sharing HIS huge moment with his friend who’s hurting, but the shot itself saying “9 out… 24 in” is just another brilliant detail they thought of.
@Ziggys_Duck The nail gun scene. Love how it showed the duality of her character. “Imma shoot this mothafucka” on the job, but “I appreciate your help with this purchase” when dealing with a civilian. Unlike most people im the game, she had more than one speed.
