On Monday 11th February, the year 5 and 6 children were invited to compete in a dodgeball tournament with other schools in the Rose Learning Trust. We worked well as a team to win the competition! The children showed great resilience and teamwork. @TheRoseLearning
On Tuesday 11th February, the year 3 and 4 children were invited to compete in a dodgeball tournament with other schools in the Rose Learning Trust. A fun and enjoyable afternoon was had and we can’t wait to see what the next tournament brings! Well done to all. @TheRoseLearning
Last week, our Year 5 children were lucky to take part in a first aid workshop by the amazing Ria from British Red sCross. They learnt lots of life skills and got involved in role play demonstrating how to help in a first aid emergency. @TheRoseLearning#britishredcross
Premier League U11’s Girls Football
The girls started out strong. In the group stages, they played 5 teams and won every game. The final went to penalties which we won, meaning we had won the whole competition.
The girls were incredible all day.

Anti-Bullying Week has started off extremely well with Odd Socks Day. Children came to school wearing their odd socks to embrace their individuality and celebrate difference.

Remembrance Day at SJA
Today, all children in school have commemorated Remembrance Day by making poppies to wear and taking part in a special assembly.
In the afternoon, we had a look at some war poetry and learnt about the significance of the poppy. @TheRoseLearning

Tag Rugby Tournament (Y5 and Y6)
The tournament was held at Hatchell Wood Primary. we had three games in our group and we progressed into a 4th place final, with the game ended in a draw!

Athletics Competition:
On Monday, year 5 & 6 compete in an athletics tournament with other schools in the trust at the Eco Stadium.
At the end of the tournament, the points were added up from all the events and we were crowned the competition winners! @TheRoseLearning
