I'm now @SCCompSC chair emerita. On the one hand it's a bit of a letdown, on the other a relief. I wish my successors the very best!

I'll still be involved but in a much reduced capacity.

Here are some thoughts on this year's competition.

[NTU HPC @realntuhpc]

We enjoyed Denver a lot!

[Tartu Team @SccTartu]

Our 'adventure' with the US customs has been awarded 👻🤣🥳👏👏👏 @StudentsSC @phu0ngng

[NCI Australia @NCInews]

It’s snowing @Supercomputing! And no one is more excited than the Aussies (and Texans) ❄️

Look what's here! The @SccTartu cluster was released from customs. Now the @SCCompSC cluster family is complete! 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 #SC19 #SCC

[Tartu Team @SccTartu]

Dear all,
Our server was released but no drivers from the shipping company available to pickup before 5pm. We are looking for someone who can help us to transport it from the warehouse to the Convention Center.

[Tartu Team @SccTartu]

Dear vendors at #SC19. Our team is at the @SCCompSC.Accidentally, our hardware got stuck at the US customs. We are looking for hardware to be able to compete. If you have any spare hardware that might lend us for a few days, don't hesitate to contact us at our booth #1299F.

[Tartu Team @SccTartu]

3 nodes are almost up.🤞🤞🤞
Thanks @Cisco @InspurServer and @daemondeacons for helps.

[Tartu Team @SccTartu]

We got 2 nodes from Inspur + 1 node from Cisco. We still continue our hunts 🥺.
We also plan to go to the customs office in the tomorrow morning. Any assistance/advices with the shipment clearance is appreciated.

@SCCompSC @SccTartu @phu0ngng Sorry to hear about this. Is it possible to utilise a public cloud?
