Hi friends, and hello @DarrenMays11
I understand you’re afraid of tampons. I’m sorry this is happening to you.
They are 2 inches in length and if you are worried they are “ruining women before marriage,” I’m sorry you have a micro penis.
@atheenabean Yup. Abusers often make themselves hard to leave by encouraging their victim to become financially and emotionally dependent on them. Cutting off friends, relatives and tools for independence.
If I had this kind of representation growing up, I'd have understood that I wasn’t alone. I would have seen that it was possible to live a fulfilling life, not in spite of what I find hard, but with the hard stuff included. That I was capable of being loved for my autistic self.
Cptsd looks like:
Being numb to everything while also feeling emotionally raw.
Feeling like no one can understand you or is on your level yet feeling inferior to others.
Worrying about the future while not believing the future will actually come.
According to the Huichol ancient traditions, both men and women would experience the pain of childbirth.
This is how it would be done, the father would position himself on the rafters with rope tied around his scrotum while the mother would pull on it while giving birth.
Toxic family dynamics don’t always happen to each child or sibling equally. Sometimes there is one main child that is singled out (known as the scapegoat) & used as the punching bag by narcissistic caregivers. Usually the more sensitive or “rebellious” child is singled out.
As someone who has experienced both a full time job and a chronic illness I can say with confidence that a chronic illness is like a full time job with no pay and way more overtime.
