Somewhere around 2024, life pulled me away from his music but recently I found my way back to it. I had started thinking about seeing him live but that will never happen now.
R.I.P. Oliver, I can't believe you're gone.
Recently, one of my favorite artists passed away in a tragic accident.
His album Ugly is Beautiful carried me through the pandemic during some of the lowest points of my life. His quirky guest appearances and interviews helped me embrace my own quirks and geeky qualities -
and he sparked my journey toward feeling comfortable in my own skin. When Cowboy Tears came out, I had it on repeat.
He was one of the only artists I ever genuinely followed and felt truly connected to.
You guys should try listening to one of his good songs instead, Life Goes On is easily the worst song on the album lmao (love him so much I’ve always felt this way)
It feels bizarre to see someone that I was a huge fan of pass away so soon. While I'm not big on him anymore, his debut album and music in general did a lot for me during the pandemic, and I will forever cherish that.
Rest in Piece.
I’m not saying this to get anyone’s favor, I promise.
But NAIC made me confirm that women are really good at Pokémon Champions.
If you looked only at skill level, there should be way more women in top cuts and at the highest tables.
I think it’s mostly statistics. The player base is heavily male, not the talent pool.
