President Trump is right. In Alberta in the Rockies the people who actually lived there and understand the land were pleading for controlled burns to clear out the massive amount of potentially dangerous flammable undergrowth in the forest.
The federal government claims that controlled fires are not environmentally sound and banned it.
As a result a massive wildfire hit the region and burned one of the most historic towns in the mountains nearly to the ground.
