𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: President Donald Trump wants the NFL to change its name so that soccer is the only sport named football.
"This is football, there is no question about it. We have to come up with another name for the NFL stuff."
😬😬😬
NFL suspended Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase for spitting at Steelers DB Jalen Ramsey. Chase denied spitting at Ramsey, but the league determined the video evidence was sufficient to warrant a suspension.
JUST IN: Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown extradited from Dubai back to the United States to face attempted murder charge.
The charge stems from a shooting earlier this year in Miami, where Brown is accused of trying to shoot a man at an Adin Ross boxing event.
Alleged victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, says Brown tried to shoot him with a handgun.
Brown claims he was trying to protect himself from people who were trying to jump him.
"...In May he snuck into a gate at the event and came right up to me trying to steal from me and threaten my life, Media hasn’t told this story yet… instead painting a false picture of me. That night I was fighting for my life with his intentions," Brown previously said.
Cam Skattebo injury update:
Diagnosis: Right ankle fracture/dislocation
Details:
Open fracture of the fibula
Deltoid ligament rupture
Good news that there was no high-ankle sprain or tibial fracture.
Translation: This could have been MUCH worse.
I think it’s very realistic that he’s back for Week 1 of 2026, and while he will have some lingering long-term issues, due to scar tissue, it won’t be as bad as Alex Smith, Chris Godwin, or OBJ’s.
There’s a decent chance he is ready for OTAs.
Overall great news!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
#Giants RB Cam Skattebo, who was placed on IR yesterday, suffered not only a dislocated ankle, but also a fibula fracture and deltoid ligament rupture, sources say.
Surgery was right away to close the wound, and it was a success. NYG expects him back for the offseason program.
Turns out that Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving’s shoulder injury, which he did not report to the team until Tuesday last week, is more of an issue than his sprained foot, per sources. Irving is dealing with a shoulder subluxation that is expected to sideline him at least two weeks. Irving will not play today vs. the Seahawks and he’s not expected back for next week’s game vs. the 49ers, either.
