@RatedScouting @MattKopnak I get it. I’m not saying they couldn’t/shouldn’t do it. I’m only pointing out that a team that trades for a retired goalie doesn’t seem ready/wanting to spend money. Seems possible that if skinner’s contract was at value they might be in on more.

@RatedScouting @MattKopnak I’m not saying he’s bad, he’s just not worth over 10% of our cap space. It puts us in a weird spot for having conversations about guys like Tkachuk/Debrincat/Fiala, especially with them sounding like they’re not trying to spend a lot.
