17u - Hoopdreams came away with a win over DUB in a fast-paced 17U matchup where both teams had big scoring runs.

#2 (Sebastian Robinson) got hot in the first half, knocking down multiple threes to set the tone. #23 (DeAndre Davis) used his speed to attack the rim and controlled the offense, finishing with double-digit assists, while #12 (Akiryon Watkins) led Hoopdreams with 14 points. For DUB, #3 (Mason Scharf) caught fire in the second half, hitting five threes and leading all scorers with 17 points, while #0 for DUB played with a smooth jumper and great change of pace throughout the game. #AtlantaJam

At 6’3 and growing, Holden plays at his pace using length and strong bball IQ to get to his spots. He can shoot it and mix it up inside and is a solid defender

Brendan Smith (left) and Mason Scharf (right) put on their best Splash Bros impression as they knocked down a combined 12 threes in their tight W. Brendan made sure to be the floor general when he was on the court. Making sure he got his teammates involved first, and then looking for his elite 3 ball. Mason would spot up, the crowd would go, “GIMME 3” and he would deliver. 6 threes on the game for each of them. Great watch!

Morning handle workout. I was focused on continuous dribbles without losing the ball. Also trying to work out keeping my eyes up while maintaining my handle. I tried out the plastic bad over the ball and I really liked it.
