@RexxyPlus @Critical_Scribe On the pc version, if you ran the game over 30fps you could do the sequence "too fast" and get stuck and have to start over. I only know this because i tried like 3 times and had to look up why it wasn't working.

@HRS24381 @Cacophanus There are certain "problems" that we already know could be solved through space exploration and space industrialization. As well as the fact that solving "all of earth's problems" is something that will never happen, certainly not to the satisfaction of someone like op.

@SandyofCthulhu Cossacks did a much better job at representing that time period in a strategy game. Also had no hard population limit, which was awesome and had mechanics that actually added to the gameplay like gunpowder units needing certain resources to be able to fire their guns.

@SandyofCthulhu Age of empires 3, while it had some good ideas, was a pretty bad game, part of it I think was that it had a lot of elements that felt really "gamey" and it took you out of the experience. Felt like some mechanics were there for the sole purpose of being a "game mechanic".
