The hardest part of translating @Duolingo learning to actual interactions is that not everyone in the world is homosexual. The vast majority of Duolingo phrasing is ‘my mothers are named Lisa and Julia’, ‘my son loves his boyfriend’, etc. It doesn’t match real world conversations
