A man in Raqqa. Abdullah al-Ramadan, was murdered execution-style for insulting someone. The murderer is wearing military clothing. Edit: because he's reportedly a Syrian soldier
An American citizen says learning Kurdish has been “very hard… worth it, though." But it's the people who have left the biggest impression. Kurdish hospitality, she says, is “unmatched.”
Ten detainees have died “under torture” in Syria since the beginning of 2026, a war monitor said on Saturday, warning of what it described as an “alarming rise” in fatalities linked to abuse in Syrian prisons and detention centers.

A security officer affiliated with the Damascus government from the city of Idlib documented on video the moment he killed the young man Abdullah Al-Ramadan in the city of Raqqa, repeating the phrase: “Don’t think you can stand up to us,” referring here to “we,” meaning the government from Idlib.
The video is extremely graphic, so I will only attach photos.

In New Syria - Syrian Government Forces continue to murder Syrians.
In the countryside of Raqqah, Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Ramadan has been tortured and executed by a soldier of the Syrian Government.
These crimes, like hundreds of others, will not appear in any report nor will the sphere of Syrian activists mention them.
It’s 2026—and even when Kurds in Syria are FINALLY “allowed” to obtain citizenship, they’re still forced to register as Arabs on official documents.
Damm all of you, over & over again.
An unidentified global jihadi from Palestine—known only by a nom de guerre—is appointed commander of the Republican Guard in Syria. His face permanently concealed behind a mask. Yet this is presented as legitimate. He operates at the highest levels of power, always standing beside Jolani.
At the same time, a Kurdish citizen living in Kurdish areas—on his own land—is labeled a threat to state sovereignty, treated as a foreigner, and deemed someone who must be expelled.
This is a complete inversion of logic.
This is the logic of the #JihadiFailedState
China and Russia vetoed the UN Security Council resolution authorizing the use of force to open the Strait of Hormuz: 11 in favor, 2 against, and 2 abstentions.
#New I spoke with senior officials at the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministry of Peshmerga, who said they are ''not aware of any weapons being transferred'' to the Kurds.
The disgrace of the Turkish press, its racism and fascism, the prime example among hired pens: the Turkish press first claimed that Iran's Quds Force Commander Ismail Kaani was a pure Turk, then, when the claim surfaced that he was a MOSSAD agent, wrote that he was Kurdish.
As a Kurdish journalist, I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed the fall of three dictatorships in Iraq, Syria, and Iran. And I am still waiting for the fourth to fall in Turkey.
These four regimes — in Baghdad, Damascus, Tehran, and Ankara — have ruled over and divided Kurdistan since the Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916, when colonial powers redrew the map of the Middle East without regard for the will of its peoples. Since then, Kurds have lived under fragmented rule, facing repression, denial of identity, and systematic marginalization across all four parts of their homeland.

Khamenei is dead. Good.
But I have family in Iran. My dad is there right now. And I'm not celebrating yet. Here's why.
Iran built the most layered contingency plan on Earth for this exact moment. Four levels of succession for every key position. Pre-authorized military strikes. Regional commanders who don't need orders from Tehran to act.
As you read this, there is already a new Supreme Leader. We just don't know who.
This isn't Maduro. The government didn't get overthrown. The system absorbed the hit. That's what it was designed to do.
Every credible intel assessment says the same thing: a post-Khamenei Iran is more likely to get harder, not softer. More IRGC. More dangerous. Potentially worse for the Iranian people than Khamenei himself.
Don't breathe yet. There's a long way to go.
Jolani’s supporters, long notorious for treachery, keep proving why we should not trust them. This one of them is openly calling for exploiting the ongoing war between Iran and Israel by jihadi factions to launch attacks against the Kurds in Rojava.
Instead of calling for de-escalation, stability, or protection of civilians, they see regional chaos as an opportunity to spill more blood.
These are people who cannot sit idle without seeking conflict. The jihadi army Jolani is assembling is driven by a permanent need for enemies, if none exist, they invent them.
This ideology feeds on instability, thrives on war, and targets vulnerable communities whenever it senses distraction elsewhere.
Hêvîdar im ku serkirdeyên Kurd baldar bin ji vê yekê, û zanîbin ku întegre bi van hovan re wisa bi aramî wê neqede.
