No one believed in the @MontiHoops team when they concluded the regular season with five wins.
No one except themselves.
That determination pushed the boys passed the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 teams in Section 5AAA en route to a STATE TOURNAMENT BERTH!!

Monticello junior QB Anthony Staryszak (6-1, 195 junior) is out with a broken hand. Taking snaps is 5-foot-5, 185 senior Calvin Schmitz. He's a versatile athlete (playing defense today, too) and will play baseball at Northern State.
