It is sad that many species go extinct due to human attention. Some are due to food purposes but what is really sad is that some go extinct due to humans just not liking the species. You'd think we would just leave them alone if we don't like them. #ees028

I never thought about the different ways in which a species could be rare. I just assumed that there was one way. That a species was rare if there was not many of the species existing. #ees028

Although this neat little place was caused by human error that has effected everything that once lived in the town, I'm glad I had the chance to visit a place that has been burning since 1962 before its gone forever. #ees028

One neat place in PA is a place called Centralia. Once a small town that relied heavily on the coal industry is now practically abandoned. In 1962 a fire started in the coal mine and it still burns to this day. #ees028

Today it is better known as the Graffiti Highway as many people go there specifically to paint on the abandoned stretch of Route 61. As of today the owner of the property has said that he is having it covered with dirt due to liability. #ees028

Its crazy how much faith scientists are putting into a poor quality video of a bird that resembles the Ivory Billed Woodpecker. You would think they would want more evidence before they spend millions on a species that most likely is extinct. #ees028

After deforestation caused by the pilgrim settlers and the industrial revolution, the lands of Pennsylvania were plagued with drought, erosion, and fire. All of the animals in the forest had left leaving an ugly sight of charred and destroyed land. #ees028 #deforestation

In 1920, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania bought several thousand acres of land in order to reforest the land and do some conservation efforts. The effort was very successful as over half of the acres of Pennsylvania are now inhabited with forest. #ees028 #deforestation
