@lportwoodstacer This sounds like a great book! A huge challenge that I think about a lot, which has to do w/ making publishing and academia more inclusive in general, is how we can support authors who live & work in conditions inhospitable to creating scholarship (esp inadequate resources)

Writing is hard. Writing a book is a particular kind of hard. I had moments with the diss and both books when I was sitting on the floor in a sea of pages, certain I’d never make sense of the work. First you drown, then you flail, then you swim and then…there’s a book!
