I covered Fairfield boys lacrosse Senior Night this week.
A fence surrounds the field and ... YIKES ... this was on the visitors side maybe 10 yards from sidelines. It was relatively new and maintenance was alerted; I was very happy no stray balls went flying in its direction!

Erick All @eallindi83 visited Fairfield before Bengal rookie camp. He dropped by to see me and my students (they adore him!). Erick made sure everyone knew where he sat in English 10!

GMC Academic Quiz Teams opened their regular season Monday, and Fairfield showed its potential for a march to the title. The Indians swept 3 matches, as varsity thumped Oak Hills 71-40 and 74-32, and JV rallied to win 44-42. Coach Braam is proud, proud, proud.

Fairfield's Academic Team is 4-0 and heading into a faceoff against the top team in the state for the morning tournament title at Little Miami.

One hour until gametime for the Fairfield-Centerville rematch in the Ohio Regional Finals at the Cintas Center. The Indians have returned to the lockers to dress ... talked to them a few minutes ago and they are PUMPED!!!!

Wow ... would love to see Bengals/Eagles in the Super Bowl, particularly since Josiah was once a student in my sophomore English class at Fairfield! Congrats to @Jackthejiant and @JosiahScott7 ... may you both fly high this weekend as The Tribe cheers you on!

Yes, school is closed today.
But other than I got to sleep a TAD bit longer than usual, I defy anyone to think that teachers are taking the day off. If anything, I am busier than usual; I have sent out 18 individualized emails/Reminds already in addition to grading and planning!

@GoBearcatsFB Let me suggest that UC give Ball State kicker Jacob Lewis a strong, strong look. He just entered the transfer portal and has an incredible booming and accurate foot, both for kickoffs and FGs. In addition, he is a mature young man and, overall, a good person.
