@sncdveselik I think this is so important because we may not know about a student's home life and maybe we will be the only adult figure that is consistent and comforting #debriefgrief
@KevinPe86942331 A4: My little sister had heart surgery at a super young age and has some lingering trauma. It helped that we went through that hard time as a family #debriefgrief
@Mr_VandenPlas A2- I think providing a choice is really important for students because this gives them a sense of control when their life feels hectic #debriefgrief
@KevinPe86942331 A5: My school was basically two hallways on the same floor and we had 4 mins in between classes. This was more than enough time but I think 10 mins allows for kids to have a chance to take a break from being fed info. #pushitback
@sncdveselik A4: As a teacher I think I'd like this cause we'd get more prep time and possible time for students to come in w/ questions. As a student I think I'd like this as well but I'd be worried about sports schedules not matching with other schools #pushitback
@Mr_VandenPlas A3: My junior and senior year we started school at 8:15 everyday. I liked this compared to starting at 7:50 the previous years. I wasn't as stressed about getting to school on time knowing I had a few extra mins to get ready and such. #pushitback
@KevinPe86942331 Sports were important to me all throughout school so as a student I would be all for this. As a teacher I think it would greatly increase your workload because you'd have to catch students up on material but in order to be a great teacher you need to be adaptable!
