@LauraMiers @followingmybody To some extent, w the trauma she’s endured, I get it’s overwhelming (though to me that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t push thru and mask) but it’s just sad bc I’m so lucky she’s been my ally on so many other major issues. She doesn’t believe I have LC.

I’m in my 20s and my mom and I used to be on the same page, but now refuses to even speak about Covid or wear a mask bc it’s all too overwhelming. Our first real disagreement

@kristians414 I’m white and I’m a teacher, and I’m the only masked teacher in my school left. I feel so alone all day. But in the morning I get on the train and it’s mostly other essential workers, but especially many older Black masked nurses. and I feel, for a moment, not alone

@1goodtern I’m a teacher and I am the one and only person masked in my school. I wish I and some of these masked kids could end up at the same school so I could help make them feel less alone. It’s tough for an adult and I am sure worse for a kid. We stay the course 💗
